Ways to Maintain Optimal Dental Health
With the events in the world in recent years, including the changes in the economy and inflation, it may seem like there is little we can control, which can be frustrating. One aspect of our lives we can control is maintaining optimal oral health to hopefully avoid a dental emergency and the need for treatment. While our natural teeth are designed and expected to last a lifetime, unfortunately, there are a number of outside factors that can impact and affect our oral health. With certain precautions, hopefully we can keep our teeth healthy.
The two best ways to maintain optimal dental health is through following an oral health regimen and visiting my office for routine hygiene examinations and cleanings. I recommend thoroughly brushing your teeth for a minimum of two minutes twice daily and using dental floss at least once per day. I also recommend having your teeth checked and cleaned at least twice a year; however, I may recommend more frequent visits if necessary.
I encourage you to make your oral health a priority and schedule an appointment if you have not visited my office in the past few months for a checkup. If you or a loved one are experiencing any indication that there is a problem developing or present with your oral health, I want you to contact my office located in The Woodlands, TX as soon as possible for an appointment. My team and I look forward to seeing you soon!
