Have You Scheduled Your Year-End Checkup Yet?
We don’t know how you feel, but we cannot believe that it is already October! This year seems to be flying by, and before we know it, December will be over, and we will be starting 2024! Before we can worry about that, we know there is a lot left to accomplish this year. So, when was the last time you and your family members visited our office for a routine oral hygiene examination? If it has been longer than six months, then you are due! There is no time like the present to schedule your appointment. We want to be able to see you before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is upon us. Read on to learn about another reason you should schedule a visit this fall.
Don’t Let Insurance Benefits Expire
We encourage our patients who need an oral hygiene examination or recommended treatment to schedule their appointment as soon as possible this fall. Our patients who have dental insurance should use as much of their benefits as they can. Many dental insurance policies renew at the end of the calendar year, and any benefits that are not used will expire. Patients often realize this too late and are scrambling to get a last-minute appointment at the end of December. We encourage our patients to check their calendars now and determine if they are due for an appointment. The sooner you can schedule your appointment, the better.
Prevent a Dental Problem
One of the biggest reasons we are passionate about routine dental care and scheduling any recommended dental treatments is to avoid a dental emergency and further complications. Unfortunately, dental issues do not heal on their own and continue to progress until, eventually, you experience a dental emergency. While an emergency can happen at any time, you have an added risk if you do not receive routine dental care. We want to do everything we can to prevent that from happening.
If you have any questions about a treatment we recommended or the date of your last appointment, be sure to contact our office located in The Woodlands, TX. We would be happy to help you with any of your oral health questions and schedule any needed appointments. We look forward to seeing you this fall!
